Apostle Jonas Philip Offei was born on the 13th of July, 1956 at Asamankese in the Eastern Region of Ghana. He is presently the National 80th Anniversary Committee Chairman and the National Superintendent for the Witness Movement.
He currently holds a Master of Theology from the Trinity Theological Seminary at Legon. To his credit, he also has a Bachelors Degree in Theology from the LAWNA Theological Seminary at Ihesha – Nigeria; a Diploma in Theology from the Apostolic School of Ministry, Penegros-South Wales (United Kingdom); and a Diploma in Theology from the Apostolic Bible College at Kumasi.
CALLS AND MINISTRY
Apostle Offei received his first ministerial appointment as an Overseer in 1984 and was later ordained as a Pastor in 1988 in Accra. He was set apart as a National Evangelist of the Church in 1989. In 1995, he was set apart as a Teacher of the gospel of Christ at Kumasi. Finally in 2002 at Techiman, he was set apart as an Apostle.
Due to his hard and diligent service to the work of God, he was transferred on several occasions to different locations. From 1984 to 2001, he was transferred as a District Pastor to Bekwai, Begoro, Kumasi District ‘B’ and Koforidua. He was also transferred as an Area Head/Apostle to Bolgatanga, Obuasi, Ihesha-Nigeria, Ho, Nkawkaw and currently Kaneshie from 2001 to date.
Apostle Jonas Philip Offei is married to Deaconess Beatrice Offei and has three lovely daughters Elizabeth, Eunice Panin and Eunice Kakra and a son by name Samuel.
